Hi, I’m Leanne Laurin, a Client Care Representative at Walker Road Animal Hospital. I’m originally from Alberta and have always had a deep passion for the veterinary field, dreaming of becoming a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT). I studied Animal Health Technology at Northwestern Polytechnic and earned an Equine Green Certification. While I’m still working toward completing my RVT diploma, I’m thrilled to be working in this field, which has truly been a dream come true.

I have a particular interest in large animal medicine, emergency care, surgery, microbiology, and animal behavior. My journey with animals started early—I’ve been involved with shelters, volunteered wherever I could, and worked at horse boarding arenas for performance horses.

Outside of work, I’m a singer and an equestrian, and I’m excited to continue pursuing my passion for animal care.
