Dr. Leanne Horsman, DVM

I’m Dr. Leanne Horsman, Associate Veterinarian and Facility Director at Walker Road Animal Hospital. I earned my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Ontario Veterinary College at the University of Guelph. I’ve always had a passion for animals, and being a veterinarian allows me to continuously learn about them while educating their owners on how to keep them healthy. I’m particularly interested in endoscopy and tackling medical cases involving dogs, cats, and exotics. I also love improving how we care for our patients and clients at the hospital.

One of the best parts of my job is working alongside such a talented team, and the variety of cases we see means we’re always able to make a meaningful difference.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time on the water—boating, waterskiing, swimming, and even scuba diving. I also love being with my kids, Cameron and Mikayla, and taking care of our pets: Phoenix, our Brittany Spaniel, and our two cats, Foxy and Midnight Star.
