I’m Dr. Narender Singh, an Associate Veterinarian at Walker Road Animal Hospital. I graduated with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry from Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, and I’m currently working toward my GPCert in Emergency Medicine and Surgery, which I’ll complete in June 2025. I’m also Fear Free Certified, ensuring that my approach to veterinary care is always as stress-free as possible for your pets.
I’ve always had a deep compassion for animals, paired with a strong interest in understanding their health. Being a veterinarian allows me to combine my passion for animal welfare with my love of science, and it’s incredibly rewarding to make a difference in their lives every day. I’m especially drawn to emergency and critical care, where the fast-paced environment challenges me to think quickly and make a real impact when it matters most.
I’m lucky to work with a fantastic team of professionals with the same passion for top-quality animal care. The collaborative and supportive atmosphere here helps us deliver the best care possible, and I truly enjoy building connections with both pets and their families.
Outside of work, I’m always up for an exciting challenge or adventure! Whether it’s travelling, trying out adventure sports, or playing games on my PlayStation, I find it a great way to recharge and bring that same energy back to my work at the clinic.
At home I have an orange Domestic Shorthair (DSH) cat who’s about two years old. She’s full of personality and constantly reminds me why I chose this profession in the first place!
