When should I consider euthanasia?

As pet owners ourselves, we know how difficult it is to consider euthanasia. If you have questions, we’re here to answer them. Only you know what’s best for your pet and we’ll be here to guide you through the process. When considering euthanasia, some factors you may consider are:

  • Your pet’s health status
  • Were they diagnosed with a terminal illness
  • Can their treatments continue to alleviate their chronic pain
  • Is their quality of life being affected

Will my pet feel any pain when euthanized?

You can have peace of mind knowing your pet will be calm and comfortable throughout the process. The procedure is generally painless and quick. If your pet is in any pain or feeling anxious before the procedure, we may sedate them. You are welcome to be with your pet during this difficult time. Our team will give you all the time and privacy you need to say your goodbyes before, during, and after the procedure.
